April 14, 2026
Dear USAEE Members,

The United States Association for Energy Economics (USAEE) is pleased to partner with Louisiana State University to offer the 2026 Energy Fundamentals course

Energy Fundamentals is a weeklong program designed to provide a broad, interdisciplinary overview of the U.S. energy sector. The course covers key topics across energy systems—including fuels, electricity, and policy—bringing together perspectives from economics, engineering, and public policy.

We are offering two sessions in Summer 2026:
  • Session 1: June 22–26, 2026
  • Session 2: July 13–17, 2026
Participants include early-career professionals, educators, and individuals working in or transitioning into energy-related roles. The course is designed to be both accessible and rigorous, with opportunities for discussion and engagement across disciplines.
